Inkkeeper booking texts
Inkkeeper booking texts is the shared text-message program run by Voidroot LLC dba Inkkeeper.io. The only sender is Inkkeeper, and every text it sends starts with “Inkkeeper:”. This page documents the program.
What the program is, and who sends it
Inkkeeper is booking software for independent tattoo artists. When a client books with a studio that uses Inkkeeper and has no verified number of its own, transactional texts about that booking can go out from one shared Inkkeeper number (+1 844-465-4887). Voidroot LLC runs the number and writes every message. Studios and artists cannot edit the wording; a studio's name appears only inside the message, as in “your appointment with Weston Graham”. The texts are transactional only: no marketing, no promotions, no blasts.
How clients opt in
On each studio's public request form there is an optional, unchecked checkbox under the phone field labelled “Text me booking reminders and updates”. Nothing is pre-checked, and submitting the form works the same whether or not the box is ticked. The disclosure printed under it reads:
“By checking this box you agree to transactional texts from Inkkeeper about this booking with Weston Graham, up to 4 texts a week. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Terms of Booking · Privacy Policy”
Only clients who tick that box get texts from the Inkkeeper number. Checking it is never a condition of booking or of purchase.
What we send
Fixed, Inkkeeper-authored texts about the client's own booking. Every one starts “Inkkeeper:” and ends with opt-out wording. The complete set:
- Appointment reminders: “Inkkeeper: reminder — your appointment with Weston Graham is coming up. Details in your email. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- Deposit reminders: “Inkkeeper: your deposit with Weston Graham is still open — the link is in your email. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- Consent-form links: “Inkkeeper: please review and sign your consent form for Weston Graham — the link is in your email. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- Newly opened times: “Inkkeeper: new times just opened for you at Weston Graham — grab one via your email. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- Offer-expired notices: “Inkkeeper: the times Weston Graham offered you have expired — reply to your email for new options. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- The opt-in confirmation: “Inkkeeper: you're opted in to booking texts about your appointment with Weston Graham — up to 4 texts a week. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
- An automated reply when a client texts the number: “Inkkeeper: this is an automated booking-text number and can't read replies. Help: inkkeeper.io/texts. Reply STOP to opt out.”
When a message includes a link (to pay a deposit, sign a consent form, or pick a time), the link is inserted where shown and still points at the same page the client's email already linked.
Frequency
At most 4 texts per phone number in any 7 days across the whole program, counting the opt-in confirmation. Most bookings generate fewer.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP at any time to end the texts; the opt-out is recorded on the shared number itself, so it applies no matter which studio you booked with. Reply HELP and the number answers: “Inkkeeper booking texts about your appointment. Help: inkkeeper.io/texts. Reply STOP to opt out.” For anything else, email hello@inkkeeper.io. The number is automated and cannot read other replies.
